TERMS AND CONDITIONS Last updated: [01/09/2026] These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made through the online store operated by Teck Joo Hardware, UEN 45318200C(“we”, “us” or “our”). By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions. 1. Products and Information We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, specifications, prices and availability are accurate. Colours and appearance may vary slightly due to lighting, photography and screen settings. Customers must check the selected model, capacity, colour, orientation, installation type and other variations before submitting an order. Please contact us before ordering if you are unsure whether a product is suitable for your premises. 2. Prices and Additional Charges All prices are stated in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are inclusive of GST. Delivery, installation, disposal and additional-work charges will be shown during checkout or communicated for approval before the additional work begins. Standard installation does not include additional electrical wiring, piping alterations, concealment work, access panels, ceiling work, structural work, special brackets, scaffolding or rectification of unsafe existing conditions unless expressly stated in the order. 3. Order Submission and Acceptance Submitting an order does not automatically mean that we have accepted it. An order is accepted only after: * We verify the payment; * The selected product and variation are available; * The delivery and installation details are confirmed; and * We issue an order confirmation. We may contact the customer if additional information, a site photograph or a site assessment is required. If a product is unavailable, we will contact the customer to offer an alternative, a revised fulfilment date or a refund of the affected amount. 4. PayNow Payments Customers must pay the exact order amount to the PayNow UEN and business name displayed during checkout. The order number should be included as the payment reference whenever possible. Customers may be required to upload a payment screenshot or payment proof. Uploading payment proof does not mean that payment has been confirmed. The order will remain under “Payment Verification Pending” until we verify that the correct amount has been received in our account. We will never request a customer’s banking password, PIN or one-time password. 5. Delivery Delivery dates and time slots are estimates until confirmed by us. Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address, postal code, unit number and contact number. The customer must ensure that someone is available to receive the order and that there is safe and reasonable access to the premises. If delivery cannot be completed because of incorrect information, restricted access or the absence of an authorised recipient, any redelivery charge must be disclosed and agreed upon before redelivery is arranged. The customer should inspect the product upon delivery and notify us promptly of visible damage, an incorrect item or a missing item. 6. Installation Installation is subject to site conditions and final assessment by the installer. The customer must provide accurate information about the existing heater, capacity, installation type, pipe orientation, wiring, access conditions and other relevant site details. Photographs and online descriptions may not reveal concealed wiring, concealed piping, corrosion, leakage, unsafe connections, insufficient electrical capacity or other site conditions. If additional work is required, we will explain the work and applicable charge and obtain the customer’s approval before proceeding. Where regulated electrical or plumbing work is required, such work must be carried out or supervised by appropriately authorised personnel in accordance with applicable Singapore requirements. We may refuse or postpone installation if the site is unsafe, inaccessible, unsuitable or does not meet applicable technical or regulatory requirements. 7. Product Orientation and Customer Selections For products requiring left/right orientation, capacity, colour or another variation, the customer is responsible for confirming the correct selection before checkout. If the customer is uncertain, the customer should send us photographs and request confirmation before ordering. Our recommendation will be based only on the information and photographs supplied and remains subject to on-site verification. 8. Changes and Cancellations Customers should contact us immediately if they wish to change or cancel an order. A change or cancellation is subject to the order’s processing status, product availability and whether delivery, installation, customisation or special ordering has already been arranged. No cancellation fee or deduction will be imposed unless it was disclosed to and accepted by the customer, or represents a reasonable cost already incurred in processing the order. Nothing in this section limits any non-excludable rights or remedies available under Singapore law. 9. Returns, Defects and Incorrect Products Please notify us promptly if a product is defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied or does not match the agreed description. Change-of-mind returns are subject to our stated return policy and require prior approval.
